I experienced significant delays during check-in which exceeded an hour, leaving me frustrated and feeling undervalued as a guest. The room I was assigned had a funky smell and technical issues that indicated it wasn't properly checked after housekeeping. The service left much to be desired, as I felt ignored and disrespected during my stay.

The lack of a larger playground and more beach beds with umbrellas limited the options for family-friendly activities, especially with the blazing sun. The unexpected utility charges added a bit of confusion to the overall cost, leaving me unclear on what those other charges were since they seemed inconsistent while ordering at the bar.

Being just a short walk from landmarks like the Independence Monument and the Commewijne River made city strolling an absolute delight. while the dining options were quite good, I did notice that service could be a bit slow at times, especially during busy hours.

The pool area is stunning, with beautiful waterfalls and a swim-up bar. The room had air conditioning, a kitchenette, and a balcony overlooking the pool. Enjoyed the included breakfast with fresh fruit and local pastries. The spa had awesome services, like back massages and yoga classes, adding to the overall chill vibe.

We had an amazing time at this resort with the kids! The pool and waterpark were very nice, featuring awesome waterfalls. The kids especially loved the twin shower head in our room and the relaxing vibe of the botanical surroundings.

In my wife’s opinion, they need more family-friendly dining options.
